So sick of my family. I would so much rather be working… But aren’t I sick of them too? The only people I never am sick of have disappeared on me for a month! I miss my TV shows! I guess I maybe could of let an episode slip by here or there to give me something to watch now. But then again, I’m glad I did stay up to seep on them. I suppose I could grab the first few minutes of FOX shows that I didn’t bother watching after I missed… What is up with their new online watching deal with Dish? Anyways, they are also about the only network without an app, so without Hulu Plus, I would have to talk to my family to be able to use the real computer. I miss Netflix Instant too, which my family also got rid of. I can watch Arrested Development on Hulu, but only when the computer is free. I have a Netflix DVD I want to watch, but it’s rated R, so I can’t watch it on the TV where the kids could see it (besides, I can hear them watching Tangled for the third time, picking the heathy food out of their meals.) not the computer, and I guess I could find the portable DVD player, but I don’t want to talk to or crawl through a ‘tween’ girls bed.
I sound so dumb and lazy… But really I’m complaining because it’s impossible for me to be lazy when I’m crammed into a house with these people! This is my only moment of peace. The minute I pick up Vogue or start to read one of my new books I will be crawled on a kidergardener or yelled at by someone else. Ah, the holidays. No one has even gone grocery shopping or done laundry. I guess I should try harder.

  • Andy: Yes! Honey - I just traded Finland's military to Kenya for 50 lions! That's pretty good, right?
  • April: ...yeah, but also militaries are pretty good at protecting countries.
  • Andy: But so are lions, and you don't have to pay them.
  • Andy (confessional): These kids are idiots. I've just traded all of Finland's boring stuff for every other country's lions. I have more lions than any other country in the world right now. I have no idea what's going on but if that ends up meaning something in this game, I'd say I'm set.

I haven’t blogged all summer! Let’s just say it’s because I was lying on a beach somewhere in a gold bikini having the time of my life. It’s close enough anyways.

I’m so exitited to be watching all the newest runway shows. There needs to be something that really blows me away, or several simple things that can staple the collection together. Enough beautiful things to make up for those ugly ones.

I really like some of the models too, but others I just can’t seem to get. One of my fav fall 2011 rtw is dolce and gabanna. It really speaks to me. I also love what I’ve seen of the row, although I don’t think it was quite as current. I can’t remember all the other names but I’ve seen some truly beautiful stuff!

I have an idea. It has the potential to be something big. The potential to save lives and raise awareness for an imoportant cause affecting everyone.
I googled “What do you do with an idea”. The first hit was “Lessons on Turning an Idea into Money.” The second was for the US copyright office. I’m not out to make money. I don’t care if I get minimal or a bunch of credit. I just want to make this happen because it will make a difference.
The idea is simple enough. It’s just what to do with it.

So, if Anne Hathaway is going to play Kurt’s Aunt on Glee, and Julie Andrews his Grandma, does that make Kurt in line for the Genovian crown?
